Which brokerage systems does LumiTalk work with?
It works on top of the transaction-management and CRM stack brokerages actually run — dotloop, SkySlope, Brokermint, Paperless Pipeline, Lone Wolf, and BoldTrail among them, plus recruiting tools like Brokerkit and CRMs like Follow Up Boss and MoxiWorks. It logs the call, captures the recruit or the agent request, and sets the follow-up. Your transaction system stays the book of record; Lumi is the front desk keeping it fed. Running something else? Ask — the list keeps growing.
Does it make compliance or brokerage-of-record decisions?
No — and it's built not to. Lumi is a front desk and admin layer, not your broker-of-record. It answers factual questions from your playbook, captures compliance and transaction questions with the file details, and routes them to the managing broker or TC. It never issues a compliance ruling, never gives legal advice, and never signs off on a file — a licensed human always does.
Can it actually help us recruit agents?
It makes sure you never miss a recruiting call — which is where most brokerages lose recruits. It answers the moment an agent calls, captures what matters — current production, brokerage, license status, what they want — and books the conversation with your managing broker while the interest is warm. What it never does is negotiate: it doesn't quote splits, promise a desk fee, or offer a role. Those stay with you; Lumi just makes sure the conversation happens.
Will it answer agents' questions, or just take messages?
It answers. Routine agent-support questions — deadlines, forms, process, where a file stands — are handled from your playbook in a real conversation, any hour. Anything that needs a human — a judgment call, a compliance question, an escalation — is routed to the right person with the full context attached, so agents get help instead of a callback promise.
Is this a fit for a small independent brokerage?
Especially. A small shop is where the broker-owner is most likely to be the receptionist, the compliance desk, and the recruiter all at once. Lumi is flat monthly pricing, not per-minute metering, so covering the office line around the clock costs the same in a quiet week or a busy one — and it buys back the owner's time, which is the scarcest thing in the business.
How is this different from your real estate agent receptionist?
The agent page is about lead capture — qualifying buyers and sellers and booking showings. This is about running the office: agent support, transaction and compliance triage, recruiting, and the vendor calls that fill a broker-owner's day. Many brokerages run both — Lumi for the agents' lead flow and Lumi for the front desk — but the brokerage-operations job is the one that gives the owner their week back.
What about after-hours and weekend calls?
Lumi answers 24/7 in 70+ languages. The agent with a Sunday contract deadline, the recruit who can only talk after their current brokerage closes, the out-of-area referral partner — all get a real conversation instead of a voicemail, with everything captured and waiting for your team in the morning.
How fast can we go live, and what does it cost?
Days, not months. You give us your office line, your agent-support playbook, and your routing rules; Lumi starts answering with the plays most brokerages run — agent support, recruiting capture, transaction and compliance triage, vendor routing, and after-hours coverage. Pricing is a flat monthly rate sized to your call volume and channels, not per-minute metering. Book a demo, tell us your setup, and we'll put a number in front of you.
